If you are ever in need of work on your 4WD and you happen to find yourself in Poland, then call on these guys – Trasek Off-Road (http://www.trasek.com.pl/). They did a great job on the poor old Troopy – from diagnosing problems that we could face during our adventures and then having the knowledge and the expertise to fix these problems for us.
Luckily, they are the Polish agents for ARB products, of which we have quite a few things fitted to our car, including shockies, bull-bar, roof-rack, winch, fridge, etc. This meant that they had a good understanding of what products we needed/wanted for our car.
Post-repairs, we have noticed a marked improvement in ride and fuel economy, and we have the confidence to tackle whatever road conditions the rest of the trip may bring.

With hindsight, we can see that the back of the car is very low.
This is after the worst of the roads in Far Eastern Russia and Mongolia.
Car fully loaded with bikes and bike rack too.
It is easy to see the improvement in the rear suspension. And we can see the road in front of us because the nose isn’t pointing to the sky anymore.
